Ambrette Musk Crystals

A true fixative. Sweet, alluring, good in any lure where musk is called for – full strength. Often mistaken for muskrat musk and used for same purpose. Appeals to muskrat, beaver, raccoon and fox. An important ingredient in cut or ground bait for canines or felines.

Anise Oil

Lovage Oil
(Tincture)

Lovage is native to Europe where it grows wild. It’s a flowering type plant in the same family as carrots, parsley, and dill, and has a rich pleasing aromatic odor. Its spicy and earthy smell was recognized by the early scent makers dating back to early 1900’s as a true K9 attractant, when formulated in the right proportions, with glandular type bases. It has been said, it caused passion and sexual interests, and was known as a true secret ingredient for many years. We import the dry product, and tincture it out ourselves at a ratio 1:2.

Ketone Musk Powder

A true musk type odor, sweet and very perfume-like. Valuable when used in any lure from weasel to wolf. Meritorious in its ability to improve a desired animal scent and fixation in lures of a sweet composition.

Muscaro Musk

Formulated by ourselves. Syrupy in consistency, viscous in cold weather. Its high musk odor is attractive to most animals especially muskrat, raccoons, beavers and foxes. Can be used straight or as an ingredient in formulations. Highly attractive to felines.

Peppermint Oil

Very fragrant oil highly attractive to muskrat and raccoons sometimes mixed with wintergreen for variation of odor. Widely used as one of the truly fine muskrat and raccoon lures. Mixes easily with other ingredients.

Poplar Bud Oil

Muskrat and beaver attractor, straight or formula, believed by trappers to be the best beaver food lure. Extracted from Alberta Poplar Trees Buds by Forsyth Lures.

(Tincture)

A strong tincture attracted to most animals.

Sodium Benzoate

Bait Maker's Compound. For use in preventing cut or ground flesh baits from decomposing after reaching desired stage of taint. Recommended proportions are one cup per gallon of material, paste or solid materials. Mix well.

Tonquin Musk
(Pure Tinctured)

Valerian Root Tincture

Also known as Xylol. Great for gland and meat base formulation, very pleasant and long lasting when allowed to age.
